WE ACT has been an active and well-known participant in New York City, State and regional coalitions: Pure Water Alliance, Constitutional Convention Work Group, Alliance For Clean Water Action, the New York City Environmental Justice Alliance, the Northeast Environmental Justice Network, and the NYC Coalition To End Lead Poisoning.

Work Groups include: EPA's Urban Wet Weather FACA, EPA's National Environmental Justice Advisory Committee's Enforcement Subcommittee, and EPA's Permit Reform Stakeholder Input Group; and NYC DEP's Combined Sewer Overflows Committee.

Advisory Board memberships include: Harlem Center For Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, Columbia University's NIEHS Center for Environmental Health in Northern Manhattan, Healthy Schools Network (CP), Manhattan Solid Waste Advisory Board (CCM), MTA Manhattan Site Task Force (PS), Children's Environmental Health Network, Organization of Waterfront Neighborhoods (CCM), Environmental Education Advisory Council (CCM), DEC Quality of Life Workshop (PS), and DEC Air Toxics Review Committee (CE).
