Economic Conditions
There are a variety of sources of economic statistics, ranging from International organizations such as the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, to national governments (especially the United States). Note carefully the source of the data, regardless of the publisher of the statistics.
International Financial Statistics Online is a standard source of economic and financial data for member countries of the IMF.
The World Bank has Quick Reference Tables with GNP and GDP figures.
Selected data tables on employment, unemployment, and wages are available online from the LABORSTA database from the ILO.
Regional coverage is provided by the following:
- Economic and Social Survey of Asia and the Pacific from the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific.
- Economic Report on Africa from the UN Economic Commission for Africa.
- Economic Survey of Europe from the UN Economic Commission for Europe.
- The primary source of statistics for the European Union is Eurostat, with coverage of the economy and finance, social conditions, various industrial sectors, and external trade.
- Economic Survey of Latin America and the Caribbean from the UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean.
- A summary of the Survey of Economic and Social Developments in the ESCWA Region is available from the Economic Analysis Division of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia.

Andean Community Statistics are available for Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venzuela.
- SourceOECD, from the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, offers online access to practically all of their publications and data.
