LIBRARY PRIVILEGES FOR ASI SCHOLARS
- ASI scholars receive all privileges given to undergraduate students at Rutgers for the
time they are enrolled in the summer program. That is, they may take out books for 28 days,
do intralibrary and interlibrary loans for material not in the Dana library, and institute
dial-up remote access to indexes and databases for the duration of the Academic Scholars
Institute. [Please visit the Rutgers University
Libraries homepage for more information. For remote access instructions, please see How do I Connect
From Off-Campus]
- Library and remote access privileges terminate at the end of the ASI program in mid-August.
- ASI scholars returning as college freshmen in the fall semester must obtain a new university ID card. In some cases, the library barcode and PIN established during the summer will be carried over to the new ID card. If this does not occur, the student will receive a new barcode and must reregister with the library system.
