OVERVIEW

image - Spring weather Welcome to the library portion of the Academic Scholars Institute. During the summer program you will be asked to think about reading and writing in a different way. Part of that difference is reading and writing with authoritative sources, including citing those sources appropriately and correctly. What we will help you learn this summer is how to find the "good stuff" you need to build the best papers and projects you can produce. Better information skills will help you in whatever you do after college as well.

We also want you to know that the Dana librarians are here to help you achieve your goals. We can assist in framing research questions as well as in finding articles and data to support your arguments in academic papers. Please call on us early in the process whenever a research assignment seems overwhelming.

Best of luck in your academic endeavors.
