Connecting

How do I connect to Rutgers University Libraries?

If you are using a computer located on the Rutgers campus, or if you dialed into campus using the modem pools, connect to the Libraries Website for full access to all Rutgers University Library resources.

In order to connect remotely to online library resources such as licensed databases, electronic journals, and electronic reserves, you must login with your Rutgers University NetID.

From a Rutgers Libraries' page, just click on the NOT LOGGED IN link on the upper left.
Then enter your NetID and Password into the Login box.

Once you identify yourself as an authorized Rutgers' user, you will be able to use most of the Libraries' restricted resources from home.

If you have a Rutgers NetID and do not remember what it is you may look it up using the NetID Lookup application. If you do not yet have a Rutgers NetID you may Create a RUCS Account and NetID.
