DANJ sponsors an annual conference on a topic of current interest to the documents community. Conferences are usually held toward the end of October and are open to all librarians. Contact the Continuing Education Committee Chair or any DANJ Executive Board Member for information.

Interagency Depository Seminar
Every year, the Government Printing office
sponsors a weeklong, Interagency Depository Seminar (affectionately known
as "Boot Camp") in Washington, D.C. for new Documents Librarians.
The seminar is designed to provide new documents librarians with an overview
of various agencies' information products and activities as they relate
to Federal Depository Libraries. It is usually held toward the end

Federal Depository Conference
Each spring, GPO holds a Federal Depository Conference for Documents Librarians. The Conference, held in the D.C. area, is designed to provide an update on GPO activities, products and services as well as the products and services of various federal agencies.
